Can I use my Apple Notes, Notion, or ChatGPT notes?
Yes. Share selected text, paste an answer, or import a readable PDF or Markdown file. PlayNotes saves a copy. It doesn’t connect to or continuously sync your accounts.
What does the beta include?
Natural voice narration, voice personas and delivery controls, themed tapes, original voice recording, offline playback, bookmarks, and audio export. Narration reads your notes; automatic research and podcast summaries are not included. Beta access has a narration allowance and no subscription charge.
What happens to my notes?
Your library lives on your iPhone. When you allow cloud narration, only the note you choose is sent through PlayNotes to ElevenLabs to make its audio. Finished audio is saved on your phone. The app has no advertising or analytics SDK. Provider retention terms apply.
Privacy for invite requests
Striking Ventures stores your email to manage your PlayNotes beta request and contact you about access. We don’t sell it or add it to unrelated marketing lists. A salted network identifier is retained briefly to limit spam. To ask about or remove your request, contact micky@strikingventures.com.
